Hello, I’m Talley.
I began my academic career at Auburn University as a Psych Major (War Eagle!). I then went on to pursue my Masters degree at the University of Kentucky where I fell in love with the world of systems.
What is a system you may wonder?
A system, as it relates to marriage and family therapy, refers to the interconnected relationships and dynamics within a family or group. It is the shared patterns of behavior and communication that exist within the system, and how these patterns affect and are affected by the individual members.
Together in a session we will work to identify and change unproductive patterns of behavior and improve communication and relationships. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and/or entire families to explore and understand the dynamics within your system to help you develop new, healthier ways of interacting in your life and with those around you.
In my therapy sessions, I create a safe and nonjudgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My ultimate goal is to help my clients develop the skills and insights they need to improve their lives and relationships.
When I’m not working, I enjoy fishing, cooking, and listening to podcasts!
