I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Charlotte
LICENSES & TRAINING
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, I have a passion for assisting clients in making the changes they wish to achieve in a way that feels manageable. It was my time as a camp counselor that taught me the importance of communication, self empowerment, as well as conflict resolution along with a variety of other themes that are discussed in a therapeutic setting.
My goal is to guide individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s complexities, in hopes of building stronger, healthier connections.
Using evidence-based approaches, I tailor my sessions to address YOUR specific needs. Together, we will delve into the patterns of communication, behavior, and emotional expression that shape your relationship with yourself and others.
Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, seeking to strengthen your partnership, or addressing family dynamics, the therapy room is a place for open dialogue, exploration, and growth.
In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I draw upon the proven methods of Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Techniques to guide couples towards effective communication strategies. These modalities foster emotional intimacy and connection between individuals though understanding and the expression of emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
Additionally through the use of Narrative Therapy, we will explore and reshape the stories that influence your perspective, empowering you to rewrite narratives for a more fulfilling and authentic life. Therapy with me is a process of self-discovery, healing, and building stronger connections with yourself and your loved ones. Together, we will work toward creating changes that endure beyond our time in the therapy room.
