What Are You Looking For in a Practice?

If you’re looking for a team of passionate clinicians who get nerd-cited when it comes to the merging of research with supportive relationships in a fun environment, then let’s talk! We are a team who deeply values:

Applying evidence-based therapies (i.e., DBT, EMDR, ACT, ABFT, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Seeking Safety) to their practice, which includes clear action-oriented commitments and measurement of outcomes.
Owning the love of learning through specialty development (i.e., trauma, grief/loss, transitions/adjustments).
Committing to multicultural competency development and advocacy for people from systemically minoritized groups.
Optimizing therapy outcomes with a multi-modal approach, including family/couples therapy, group therapy, parent coaching, and work with adolescents.
  • Who We Are

  • Our Mission

Our Mission at ChangeWell:

Apply research and make evidence-based interventions accessible to the community.

Share our knowledge to help people understand the behaviors that both support what they want more of in life and to change what no longer serves them.

Stir inspiration for radical empathy and connection to inspire others.

Foster CREATIVITY and FUN in the work environment with like-minded colleagues who value learning, vulnerability, compassion, humor, and supporting others.
  • What We Do

What Our Work Looks Like

Let’s be honest, we didn’t choose to be clinicians only to earn income.  We are in this work because it’s part of our essence to help people transform their lives.

The founder of ChangeWell originally had the vision of pursuing a career in medicine…to be a pediatric surgeon to be specific.  She took a course focused on stereotype and prejudice formation, joined a lab focused on implicit race biases and decision making, and the seed of pursuing a career to empower humans in our healing journeys grew exponentially.

Here’s the thing, our work is developed from passion, and we know that you’re here out of a similar commitment to support others in their growth journeys.

We are a private pay practice and do not participate with insurance.  We offer statements to clients for out of network benefit coverage and sliding scale to those with financial need.

We Want to Empower You!

We understand that you have goals outside of ChangeWell. We don’t require a non-complete!  You can work and have your own business outside of this business with some requirements. The referrals that you receive through ChangeWell must stay within the system while you’re employed with us.
